The Skate Zone, JCC Inline Hockey,
The Sports Forum and Skate Land
are pleased to announce the
Michigan Inline
Hockey Travel Association (MIHTA)
MIHTA is a non-profit association that offers inline roller hockey
players access to more competition and the pride of representing their
home rink against other facilities within Michigan
MIHTA will have several teams represented in multiple divisions from JCC
Inline Hockey, The Skate Zone, The Sports Forum and Skate Land which
will compete at the 8u, 10u 12u, 14u and 16u age brackets.
The idea behind MIHTA was to allow our youth the ability to play
competition from other rinks in a way that ice hockey has competed for
many years.
If
you are interested in becoming part of MIHTA, please email
mikef@theskatezone.info
for more information, or call 248-601-7755.
When Teresa
Fulgenzi and I first met we immediately saw the need to cooperate
between our rinks and bring a higher level of competition to our sport.
The synergies between our goals were a perfect match and MITHA was
formed.
–Mark
Beauvais, Owner - The Skate Zone
This is an
exciting new association. In the past our players have become tired of
playing the same players at our own rink every few weeks, this is the
first opportunity we have had in forming a true inline travel hockey
league.
